Sow Good Now: Jefferson University Volleyball GiveBack and the KB Foundation invite you to register your child for a half day of volleyball and fellowship with professional college women athletes at Jefferson University. This event is for GIRLS ONLY in grades 6-9.

The first of what we hope to be a series of events introducing girls to different sports and Universities. Your child can expect to enjoy lunch and run some drills with professional athletes.

If you've never played sports before, this is a perfect opportunity to try it out. 

  • Parents must be willing and able to drop their child off at 9:30 AM and pick them up at 12:30 PM from Jefferson University.

  • We will accept the first 30 children registered, and any additional registrants will be added to a waitlist.

  • Any parent registering their child should do so by April 10th.

Youth grades 6th-9th are invited to a free GiveBack clinic hosted by East Coast Karate and led by Ben Mayer. Youth will receive personal coaching and skills and drills led by the players. 

• Lunch will be served at no charge and a conversation about community and philanthropy to follow.  

• Parents must be able to drop their child off and pick them up from the event location. 

• The event is first come, first served. Any child who is registered after we fill our ten slots for the event will be added to the waitlist.

Our 8th annual Boys Mentoring Camp is just around the corner. At our mentoring camp, we bring together a diverse group of boys, ages 11-14, through a series of carefully curated activities, workshops, and mentorship sessions where we aim to inspire, guide, and instill invaluable life skills in these young men between the ages of 11-13 years old.

The KB Foundation Inc. is hosting a great event at Dave & Busters, with some of our youths and a group of volunteer mentors for the day. We are honored to have summer interns from Vanguard Corporation, spend time with our youth and participate in an educational life skills workshop with the young men. This will be a fun learning experience and conclude with lunch and time to play in the game room.

The event will feature a friendly competition among chefs William Burris and Christina Ruocco who will prepare their best versions of the famous Philly Cheesesteak.

Attendees will have the opportunity to sample each contestant's creation and vote for their favorite. In addition to the Cheesesteak Cookoff, the event will also include music, drinks, and a silent auction. All proceeds from ticket sales, raffles, and the auction will go directly to the KB Foundation to support their mission.

Not only is this a great opportunity to indulge in delicious food, but it's also an opportunity to support an incredibly important cause. Tickets for the event are $150 per person.

Children under the age of 12 are FREE.

During this Lunch & Learn experience,  our youth will be learning how DELCORA processes wastewater from how we receive it from our multiple municipalities all over Delaware County to returning it to the Delaware River clean and safe. We will also discuss the different trades and career opportunities that are available at plants like ours around the world.
